The HCG Diet plan that was initially formulated by Dr Simeon’s in the 1950’s was a revolutionary way towards permanent weight loss. The diet requires a regulated dosage of HCG hormone to be administered daily & requires a strict diet control with a limited calorie intake. The HCG Weight Loss food guide assists with the lists of foods that will help in losing excess weight & with those foods that need to be avoided altogether. Simple changes in eating habits help the weight loss to be effective & permanent. By ensuring that food is organic, preservative free & has no additives will help detoxify the system. Breakfast is any amount of tea/coffee with a HCG approved sweetener. Dairy products are not allowed & only 1 tbsp of milk a day is allowed.

Calories for Lunch & Dinner must be 250 calories each, 3.5oz of meat (protein) & 1 vegetable & 1 fruit is allowed for each meal.  It is recommended that a chart is maintained to keep track of meals & the calorie count.

  •  Meat can be Veal or very lean steak with no visible fat, no ground beef is    allowed. Chicken from the breast only, boneless & skinned.
  •  Fresh White fish like halibut, swordfish, bass, flounder, pike, snapper,    crab, lobster & shrimp are allowed. Salmon, eel, tuna or any dried,  pickled or smoked fish is not permitted.
  •  Vegetarians are allowed a boiled egg & 3 boiled egg whites.
  •  Veggies like spinach, green salad, tomato, celery, fennel, cucumber,        radish, asparagus, cabbage broccoli, chard & chicory are allowed while    pumpkin, beetroot, potatoes, carrots, peas & corn are not.
  •  Fruit is just 1 apple/orange, a handful of strawberries & a half grapefruit.
  •  I melba toast/1 Grissini.
